HEAVY DUTY AS SPECIFIED!
With small closets I have to lug out a lot of items to get what I need, but with manual OA I don't have to. I decided to try a countertop rack for cast iron and everyday pans. I called Cuisinel to inquire about the thickness of the top shelf. They sell a lot of cast iron, they said the shelf should take the weight and if not return it. I just installed it and the top shelf holds a 10.8lb cast iron dust 4qt roaster (lid upside down due to cabinet height) with no sign of flexing. The bottom shelf has a Lodge 4qt combi cooker (lid on the shallower shelf) and 4 different cast iron skillets on the 2 remaining shelves.
