Pans keep slipping

Shelves should slope back a bit and have non-slip grips so the pans don't fall out, which they do. Very disappointing, bad design.

Pros
  • Fun
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Just what I needed - Kitchen and Dining

I bought this to store heavy cast iron and carbon steel pans on an open shelf as shown. I've only had it a week, but it seems to fit. There's a slight tilt when all the pots are on, but it's still stable. One of the inner rings (each "shelf" has an inner and outer ring) was bent on arrival. I was able to reinsert it manually.

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • Vulgarity

HEAVY DUTY AS SPECIFIED!

With small closets I have to lug out a lot of items to get what I need, but with manual OA I don't have to. I decided to try a countertop rack for cast iron and everyday pans. I called Cuisinel to inquire about the thickness of the top shelf. They sell a lot of cast iron, they said the shelf should take the weight and if not return it. I just installed it and the top shelf holds a 10.8lb cast iron dust 4qt roaster (lid upside down due to cabinet height) with no sign of flexing. The bottom shelf

Good solution for me

Heavy duty coated grating is strong and stable. I bought this because I knew it was too big to fit in my fixed-height cabinets, but was looking for a way to organize my heavy cast iron pieces on the countertop into a single space and take them off the stove. The 4 slots fit my 10" round items perfectly, including a deep skillet with a lid, an open skillet, and a skillet. While I don't think another 10" item would be safely stored on the top 5th wire "shelf", this shelf holds my 8" tortilla…

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Repair

Alternative ideas suitable for kitchen and dining room

I have had a tier shelf in the past but this is by far the most durable and well finished shelf I have seen. Most are just wire, barely thicker than coat hangers, but this one is over a quarter inch thick solid steel with an enamel finish to protect your skillets. The spacing between tiers is larger than average and fits almost every pan I've seen. And unlike all similar products I've seen, it can be secured to the bottom of the cabinet to prevent the whole thing from moving or tipping over…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • There are flaws
