I grew up wearing DC shoes and was hoping to pass this on to my son, but quality wise it seems like skater owned companies fall behind the quality curve. Adidas, Nike, New Balance, they just make better quality shoes that last longer. In less than two months, the sole of my son's shoe came off. To be honest, he's not even the most active kid and still wears her down in gym class. It runs about once a week. DC, thanks for continuing to support skateboarding and for continuing to pay Josh Kalis a check, but I have to look elsewhere for my son's gear.
