Two things: First, when this item arrived it was a few inches smaller than advertised in every measurement range. Second, the bottom is made of felt material and on the thin side. When I originally ordered this I also received the same look but a different brand because the other was in a color I liked and was out of stock. through this brand. I got the same measurement order. This caught my attention as this bed is smaller. I had to return this part as I didn't have a chance to convey that it is much smaller than it should be. Also, the other had a rope bottom and was generally more durable, which I liked a lot more. If I hadn't seen another one I would probably be fine with this one as long as the actual size matches the advertised one. My advice: be sure to measure your bed when you receive it. Also, this bed wasn't all that stable overall, but then again, my cats would probably be fine with it if it was the right size.
