I noticed there was a 40 amp fuse in there so I pulled it out (with needle nose pliers) and the fuse blew. I have just ordered a Bussmann VP/ATC-40 40 amp fast acting blade fuse (pack of 25) and will let you know after I have replaced the fuse and used the unit for a while. I will say that the electronics inside look pretty good. Besides the fact that the block doesn't work out of the box, I like that it's small. I like that it has 2 USB ports and 2 regular outlets. I'm building a camping solar power station to charge cell phones and such. Update: The new fuse did the trick. The inverter works again!
