I like the design. It's very functional and won't slip or slip after it's attached. It's easy to put on. I gently slide her paw through her right sleeve, wrap it around her belly and secure the velcro around her neck, then secure the velcro around her belly and place the elastic on her tail. We walked about 3 miles the first day and it rained the whole time and only the edges of the jacket were soaked with water. Her back was bone dry ;). I was very impressed to be honest. The size chart was included. Don't believe those who say jackets are too big.
