If you're reading this, people are complaining about hair or fibers coming off the pad. I've been doing this for 15 years, what good new virgin wool lining doesn't need a sperd 1st? That's what you want. Thick new pad that falls off. You can then add water and Sper Abita and once the product is on it will stop shedding. Thin wool pads cause damage.
