I've been a true fan of the blue Rowenta for many years. Firstly, this iron is blue and the water tank is blue, making it very difficult to see the water level. This unit needs to be filled frequently. The iron is also heavy. I bought this iron in January and in August the steam button stopped working. The iron was under warranty so I was asked to send it in for repair. After two weeks I received the iron dirty and the soleplate was scratched. Rowenta did not make any repairs. They sent it to a local hardware store near their Colorado Springs office. Rowenta never informed me of the timing of the repair and ignored my email asking for an update. After years of being a loyal Rowenta customer, I'm moving on.
