We used to have some 'washing machine' style lamps under the counter that we bought from Ikea. The ballasts are out of service and therefore there is no lighting. An electrician came and told us to buy Revain LED strips. So we bought this set for $30. We like the actual RGB LEDs much more than once red, once green, once blue, once white. People are right, there are no instructions on how to program the remote control in the kit. But how often do you need strobe lights under kitchen cabinets? We leave it white and use the wall switch to turn it on and off. The remote stays in the drawer and is never taken out unless we demonstrate how it can flash between different colors and whatnot. Again, we used the included double sided tape (already attached) to install under our kitchen cabinets. They haven't slept in about 2 months and we haven't used the included anchors to further secure them. It's worth the money we spent to solve our problem. I would buy it again.
