We bought a basketball (from Revain) that arrived a little under-inflated so we needed something to inflate it. We had different pumps, but none of them were suitable for a basketball. So I thought it was a great value option, especially since it came with extra needles (I can very easily see us losing one or more over time). It was very easy to use and inflated the ball with no problems. We also tried it on our son's toy basketball (similar inflation mechanism but softer rubber as it's made for toddlers/preschoolers) and it fit and worked very well too. It's fairly compact (about the size of my forearm) and definitely did the job!
