Great pump, needs room for extra needles

This is a great pump. Lightweight, easy to use. Additional needs will surely come in handy. My two suggestions are to either have space on the pump to store extra needles or a storage bag to keep them in. But that's not the case. Today I got a letter saying you can't unscrew the bottom. Ouch! Hope it doesn't ruin the pump!

I love the product and the customer service!

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but after inflating my basketball with it, the ball seems to lose air after one session. Help? Update: the company was kind enough to send me a replacement and the replacement works great! Not only did they let me know right away when I had a problem, but they took care of the problem effectively! Nothing but good things to say about the product and customer service from these guys!

Well-made socks need to be saved

My dog's favorite toy is a medium-sized Spalding outdoor basketball. I've had other ball pumps and it was easy to deflate the ball, but deflating the ball with this pump required a lot of pressure on the ball. I didn't try to inflate the ball. This product comes with 4 spare needles, but you were instructed NOT to unscrew the bottom cap so there is nowhere to store them. I like my previous pumps better.

How to use a standard needle

Read Lee's review of the inability to find a replacement needle. Realizing I was going to throw it in the trash anyway, I started using a planer knife to trim the rubber from the inside of the part that holds the needle. Even without shaving that much I was able to stick a regular needle in, then catch enough of the top cap to screw it in and roughly push it in. I was able to inflate cheaper rubber balls. The pump worked pretty well before the needles broke. Hope this helps someone else.

Fantastic cheap ball pump

Needed a quick and easy pump for various balls (basketball, footballs etc) that needed inflating at home. I saw the positive reviews and decided to pull the trigger here. A few days later (thanks Prime!) it arrived safely. It took me longer to open the packaging than to inflate a couple of soccer balls! Great pump, fast and quite small. I coach youth soccer and wanted something small that I could leave with the kit to use when needed. It seems a bit cheaply made but I believe it should hold up with normal use and is cheap enough to replace if it breaks.
