JR Products 160-85-A-16-A Colonial White City Water Flange With 1/2&#34 Review

It's easy to replace the original but it's not of high quality. The hose didn't quite tighten, I had to remove the manual cover and pull directly on the metal. Started leaking after a few weeks, had to replace with another brand.

Plastic flange not glued to brass core. This causes rainwater to seep into my wall. I can't remove the flange to glue it to myself without risking breaking it. The previous one I had was glued together and didn't leak. I don't know if this is a defect of that one device or if they just decided to stop gluing them together.

City water pickup on my 2012 North Trail, just worn out, leaking. I bought these as a replacement. However, it turns out to be an UPGRADE. The piece I removed was all plastic, female and hose threaded. This assembly is made of brass both inside and in the water hose fitting. Just installed today but I'm very happy with the quality improvement.

I'm glad I chose this one after reading reviews from others who were all plastic. This one is brass and strong. Some teflon tape, easy to apply and works great. To update! Something broke in less than a month and now this thing is leaking like a sieve! And what a coincidence, literally three days after I can't return a smelly thing!

Just received and installed this unit. This solved the initial problem of a faulty check valve, but the device is not very durable. The valve assembly dangles a bit in the mounting plate so it kind of hangs down when you connect the water hose. I know most RV stuff is crap in general, but the old one replacing this one wasn't too bad. Also, there were no screws included.

Bought to replace a worn part on my Coleman pop up. Everything came scratched in the packaging. Maybe it was a previously returned item? I'm not obsessed with aesthetics, but I do expect the new part to be in like-new condition. It looked good enough to wear on my RV, at least better than its standard early 90's piece. It was very easy to install. I'll see how it goes in the summer.

Within a few years my cheap plastic city faucet started leaking. I tried tightening the connection but it just split and cracked the shank. I ordered this brass version that fits the old mounting holes exactly. In this part I connected the brass plug from the water supply line to the brass stem and screwed it down. Excellent seal, does not leak, not fragile like the old one. very satisfied!

This item is GARBAGE! We are an RV repairer and ordered 5 of these and 3 of them broke down within a few weeks. The latter seeped into the trailer's wall, damaging the floor and ruining the carpet. Now we have to pay out of pocket to fix the floor and replace the carpet. Thank God the customer understood. I have asked Revain and the manufacturer for help but have not received a response from anyone.

This is an exact match to the original B&B part on my 2004 Tioga 24D motorhome. When removing the old flange, be sure to look inside the threaded pipe on the back of the flange. You should see a flat white disk at the bottom of the tube, just like the one on the new part. But if you see a black rubber cone washer, it has come loose from a fitting in the van's wall.
