I used a coffee grinder for the first time today and it was a sad disappointment. The blades sit a little high and don't allow for good sharpening. I used to grind coffee beans with Nutribullet spice blades and had no problems. I ordered this grinder hoping that the cleaning and of course the grinding would be better than the Nutribullet as the bowl is removable, but it didn't work out. I ground 2-3 tablespoons of whole grains and had to press the grind button many times to keep it from overheating. Unfortunately, the result was rather rough and not perfect after about 2 minutes. You can only press the grind button for about 10 seconds before the burnt rubber smell starts. I was aiming for a grind within these parameters, but didn't get a good espresso grind. Also other reviewers mentioned that it was quiet, it wasn't. I don't expect a coffee grinder to be quiet, so that wasn't a problem for me, but FYI it's about as loud as a blender or Nutribullet.
