Review on SR SP12 Suntour Suspension Seat Post by Dave Johnson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I feel much more comfortable driving!

I bought this to give my 2019 Radmini a smoother ride. The first seat I fitted to this seatpost was a wide, winged seat with fairly flexible suspension springs, and combined with this seatpost made for a very smooth, and at times very springy, ride. However, after upgrading to the Cloud9 Cruiser saddle, which has springs so stiff I'm pretty sure they're just for beauty, I realized how much work my previous seat did to absorb road bumps in combination with this one to absorb saddle. Now it seems much harder than before. I weigh 155 pounds and use the medium spring that comes with the post. I also want to mention that I was able to get this for $66 since it was a brand new item that was returned which is an amazing deal for this post! I can pick up a lighter spring, but it depends on whether I stay with the Cloud 9 or return to a different seat. Overall I am very happy with this purchase!
