My dogs ruined matching Ashley leather sofas in just a few years of ownership. Ashley didn't pay for the repairs so I had to fix it myself. There was a discolored stain on the arm of the love seat and a few small scratches on the cushion from digging dogs. The sofa was torn (but not pierced) to the back with dog claw marks. I mixed the colors as instructed and got the correct color match on the second try using the skin test swatch provided. Picture 1 shows a discoloration/stain repair I did on a two seater armrest. The previous photo is on the left and the right side of the image shows a close-up after 1 dry layer. Now it's barely noticeable after just 1 coat of paint! Photo 2 shows a life size small tear on the sofa cushion. I first used the supplied glue to mask off the crack, then applied the filler and then color matched. Sitting on the sofa, you can't tell there was a repair, it's just that the skin looks like a crease. In any case, the sofa has a lot of folds, so it looks completely natural. Much better than a torn piece of leather! I am very happy with the result and will definitely buy it again!
