Review on Enhance Agility with the Amazon Basics Raised Training Ladder” by Marcus Cano

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good ladder for beginners. And not just for people!

This is a good base ladder for maneuverability. It's not height or incline adjustable like more professional ladders, but it's a very good beginner's ladder at a reasonable price. It is very easy to assemble and disassemble. It folds easily into the included 26 inch pouch. The bag does not have a handle, but fits well in many sports bags or dog bags, making it super easy to transport to the training ground or park. 6 total length: 102 inches. Increased height: 3.75. Width (side to side): 25. Bar spacing: 18.5. There are no instructions on how to use it, but there are many videos online demonstrating different skills. Practice using the stairs if you don't have a personal trainer or coach. Not just for humans! dogs too! My wife likes to do agility with our border collies. This can be tiring for both humans and dogs, and both use ladders to work on conditioning and skills. So I ordered this for her and also for Muppet and Nani since they train together. In dogs, the ladder is used to develop attention and hindquarters, among other things. It is extremely important that dogs learn to be aware of where their hind legs are, otherwise they may slip off the agility equipment (especially when walking them) and injure themselves. The height and rung spacing of this ladder is comparable to most ladders sold for dogs with hock heights of about 6 inches or less. While not exactly the same as dog gear, it is still a useful tool for dog sports, making it a dual-use item for my wife. ADVANTAGES: * Very easy to disassemble for transport * Easy to install * Bag is included (no handle) * Folds down to 26 inches long for carrying * Made of Polypropylene and PVC so it won't hurt the dog or person , if they step on it or accidentally bump into it... . or an unsuspecting family member who might trip over it if a family member leaves it unattended (unlike metal ladders...don't ask...) * Can be used either horizontally or elevated * A useful tool for practicing foot position and timing in many different sports. CONSIDERATIONS: * Not adjustable * The bag has no handle * Likely not to take rough handling. A good beginner's ladder to use while figuring out if you're really committed to training and improving your skills and/or your dog's agility skills.
