Review on ๐Ÿธ MITBAK Deluxe Glassware Collection for Fashionable Enthusiasts by Lance Foster

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good for the price

Everyone has a different level of acceptable quality. Having said that, this set of 6 glasses may not be premium crystal, but they are good glasses, especially at their price point. I usually prefer to use my Waterford crystal glass for guests, so I can be a glassware snob. On the other hand, for milk and water, I have glasses from the dollar store every day, which are great because I don't have to worry about them being broken by the little people in my house. Lately I've been refining Old Fashioned for my husband. I wanted shapely glasses that were comfortable to hold and of decent quality - no flaws. I also wanted glasses that could hold a double Old Fashioned (4 ounce bourbon) and a 2 1/2 scoop of ice cream. These do. Arrived well packaged, no damage. They're also shaped differently than any other stone glasses I've seen at Revain - not like many that have a square bottom that curls up. There are many of them. If you want a heavy-bottomed Rocks glass, look elsewhere. If you're buying for an avid whiskey drinker, consider a cairn glass instead. If you're looking for a good, inexpensive stone that's nice to hold, I recommend them. I can't comment on their breaking strength as we haven't had them long enough to know. At the moment I don't see a problem with the thickness of the glass - it's obvious that any glass can break. At around $3 a glass, you're not making a huge investment if you decide you don't like cocktails. They also make a great breakfast glass of orange juice.
