I love these and they smell nice too. They are coated with real candle wax. However, it would be very nice if there was an on/off switch instead of the bottom of the candle being the only way to turn it on and off. That's where the batteries go, and to turn the candle on and off, turn the bottom of the candle so the batteries are filled with juice. This makes it very difficult to place the candle in baskets and other crafts where you cannot pull out the candle to turn it on or off. Maybe if the tip of the candle was where you would turn it on and off. I hope this all makes sense.
