Review on Under sink filter Atoll A-550 STD (A-560E) 1/2" by Ada Nowakowska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

I have been installing these filters for 6 years already and have been using this at home and I can say that it filters the water perfectly, but I can’t get drunk with such water at home, at least drink three mugs, and after 5 minutes I feel like drinking again, I think because the water practically distilled, so I strongly recommend either 560 Em or installing a mineralizer instead of the usual SK-2586S, which is not needed in the system at all. to plant again when replacing, I was convinced by clients on my own skin. Twist the flasks only with your hands, if you tighten it with a key, there is a high probability of breaking the plastic key (attributed to shortcomings), I personally broke 4. It would also be nice if the first flask was transparent from fiberglass, and it’s better to take a look at the cartridges and you can wash such flasks a hundred times easier from rust than white ones. Such transparent flasks go with atoll flow systems. duck, otherwise the sealing rubber bands will be erased 2 pieces which are quite difficult to find, well, or these rubber bands need to be lubricated every six months with the silicone grease that comes with the kit. half the price of steel - this does not affect the quality of the water. The plastic tap on the tank has never broken in my practice, so you shouldn’t worry, the main thing is not to grab this tap when moving the tank. If someone starts to DRIP FROM THE END)) ))))) of a faucet, you don’t need to run in a panic and buy a new faucet for 1500-2500, you just need to replace the faucet box inside the faucet, unscrew the stem with which you open the water supply, counterclockwise (if it doesn’t unscrew by hand, it’s stuck, unscrew with pliers), then also using a hexagon threaded cartridge, remove the front panel, change the faucet box and put in a new one. The main thing is to take a good expensive membrane and change the prefilters in a timely manner - and you will be happy.

Pros
  • The inlet hoses are multi-colored - you can not confuse. and easily bent - can be moved easily under the sink. The best quality of water treatment in the world at present, if good components are used (prefilters are definitely Pentek, a membrane or Omnipur or Filmtek - but with mandatory Dow certification (each membrane has a Dow hologram)
Cons
  • I will attribute the disadvantages to the fact that this filter turns water into almost distilled water - measurements with a TDS meter (450-600 mg / l before the filter, 17-25 mg / l after the filter), in short, "dead water", the plastic key is rather flimsy
