Edit: I forgot that this one has a pocket on the back so I'm glad to discover that tonight. I stuck a microfiber cleaning cloth there, very happy with this product! will come again! I hope they offer new colors! If your laptop slips around too much and you don't take it off often, apply a few small dabs of glue to some open flat spots under the laptop (form putty, etc., used by teachers to hang posters). Works really well and hasn't slipped since!Previous: I recently started playing Minecraft on my laptop and quickly realized that I really needed to find something comfortable to hold my laptop on. I struggled to find a good angle for my hand and it got really hot as the fan blew directly onto my comforters. I didn't really need a palm rest/device mount as I basically just needed a bit of height and stability, but if I wanted one I would choose a large one over a small one because it's just more stable and comfortable. The main reason I went with this one was the customization factor and I'm so glad I did. It's durable and comfortable, it's easy to adjust. Since I use it in bed, I need it from different angles depending on my position, so it's perfect for that. In fact, the palm rest turned out to be more useful than I expected. I don't really use it as a real palm rest, but when I do it works fine. Basically, it only provides good support when I move the laptop. Because it's so sturdy, I can easily flip it over so the rest is on the back, so I can also tilt the laptop down (which I'm currently doing). All this makes this portable table perfect for use in bed! There is about an inch on each side on a 15.6-inch laptop, so it fits comfortably without being too bulky. It's relatively light, although the pads are a bit bulky (no complaint, I think that's how it works best, it just takes a bit of getting used to, and if you really want a light, non-bulky table this probably isn't one for you). The slick top means the laptop does slide around a bit, which is a little annoying, but the texture of the wood is just enough to keep it from becoming super slippery (I'll just have to get used to it, lol). A thin punched tape can come in handy. I probably won't use it, but it's wide enough for my phone (with a medium-sized case) and long enough to be versatile, so it's a lot better than the little ones I've seen. My laptop is noticeably colder now. , which is no less important. Overall very comfortable and does exactly what I need. More versatile than I expected and I'm grateful for that. If you use it primarily in bed or need other angles, this design works great. If like me you're struggling to find just the right thing, I highly recommend this one. The pads are amazingly comfortable and the adjustability is great!
