This did what I wanted. I have a 2560 x 1600 display and it ran at 60Hz which was not specified by the manufacturer. As per other reviews, everything worked right away, I switched between computer and keyboard, mouse and display switched quickly. Another big benefit is that the display remembers where everything is and stays there when you switch back. Other KVM switches work in such a way that all windows return to the laptop screen. Although others have found using the headset problematic, I gave it a try anyway and found it to be problematic. It is found on one laptop but not the other. The biggest problem I had was getting the keyboard hotkey to work. Nothing worked. I contacted support and told them I have a Logitech keyboard and nothing is working. They suggested trying a different keyboard. I grabbed an old Microsoft keyboard, pressed <Home><Home>2, the box beeped and switched me. Her suggestion was to use the old Microsoft keyboard and drop the Logitech keyboard. I had a good reason to buy a Logitech keyboard, so I plan on keeping it and not using the keyboard hotkey (which doesn't work), I'll just keep using the keys on the box. Something other Logitech keyboard users should be aware of.
