So, for starters, I'm 5ft 11in, 196#. I have a normal build (small belly), broad shoulders, 43" chest, 36" waist. I ordered an XL (like I usually buy for any shirt/jacket/coat) with a blue stripe (the blue stripe is much darker than the photo). Looks GREAT, fits just right with no thermal padding (not tight, not loose) but a bit tight around the arms and upper shoulders with liner in place (to be honest I was wearing a t-shirt and a buttoned work shirt over it since the material is new is definitely going to need to be loosened up to be more flexible but I think it will show more wear over time I can't comment on the water resistance but will leave that for a possible update I'll be picky and say that the arms are a bit long for me but luckily it has velcro straps on the wrists and allows me to tuck it in tight enough that it doesn't dangle.For the price it's amazing to say the least.I honestly didn't expect it that it looks so good and finished I haven't tested it outside but I don't think it will be very cool in the hot summer weather (I WILL with the 105° temp this weekend test the index of nature that we heard in Florida last week). If all goes well I will order 2 more colors to change from time to time. Again, I don't have a large waist so I can say for myself it fits me except for the sleeve length.
