They are fast becoming my favorite painting supplies. Just don't do what I did - I was in such a hurry to open the box that I tore off the top cap and only then realized the box was made with a removable lid and I had just ruined it! I glued it back together when I figured it out. All 100 nibs work well and can be used for relatively fine work if you are careful. I like some relatively pale colors and shades. I've attached some pen colored pictures. hp Keeping them upright doesn't seem to negatively impact ink flow. They've been on my desk for a month now and are doing no harm. Also, these are water based markers and can be used carefully in double page coloring books. Do a test first as the weight of the paper also plays a role in determining strike through, but they worked fine for some of mine.
