Bought as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend to enjoy some delicious ice cream in his homemade cocktails. He has used both forms for a long time and definitely prefers cubes. We live in South Florida and the ice produced by our Brita water filter is cloudy. Spheres are tricky because the shape isn't seamless, so not the perfect round shape of a craft cocktail establishment. Overall, the price-performance ratio is reasonable. Definitely a lot cheaper than Target. However, I would advise only buying cubes, otherwise you won't get the strictly pleasing spherical shape.
