My 4 month old's startle reflex is still increasing. We started with Halo, then SwaddleMe, then Swaddle Up. None of them worked very long hours. The Miracle Blanket saved us for a while, but he got too big for it and kept waking up with his legs thrown out of his pocket. I tried swapping him out for Merlin's magical pajamas, but even the smallest size was too big for him, 11 pounds, and didn't affect his startle reflex. Then I found this. I love that I can dress it up in regular pajamas and still use it. Velcro, of course, is noisy, but it must be fixed somehow. I laid him on his mattress, rocked him until he fell asleep, then slipped him over his belt and zipped him up. Then I hold my hand on him until he falls asleep again. He still wakes up once a night to eat. Instead of trying to nurse him in the sling, I take him out, feed one side, change the diaper, feed the other side, and then put the sling back on like I did earlier in the night. It doesn't cause the breastfeeding problems that others have mentioned. It's quite small for its age, so I can see that "small" will last us a long time.
