I received this unit a couple of weeks ago and it fascinated me like no other radio I have ever seen or owned. It's a love/hate relationship though - a bit like an exotic dancer who is your soulmate. Beautiful, curvy, sexy, you love to look at her and can't take your hands off her. But. The downsides are inevitable - ghost flirting with other guys, mysticism, possible loss of physical charm, etc. Love the size of this device. The feel in hand is incredible. I like the thin little antenna and the care you have to take when deploying it. The buttons are perfect and not easy to press accidentally. The sound from the speaker is incredible - how can such a small body produce such a great sound? Last week I walked around the supermarket with it in my breast pocket and listened to my favorite music on a micro SD card. I heard him well, but nobody else seemed to care. In fact, I was surprised when I realized how noisy the grocery store is. As many have said the FM reception is close to exceptional and this speaker delivers 100% of what is broadcast. Not sure about the claim that it can play FM stereo. I live in an urban area with strong stations and I haven't found a stereo with FM broadcasts. This is stereo in mp3 files via Micro SD card. I'm using a high-end IEM, so my listening experience is pretty good. On the AM side, pretty much forget it. The compromises you have to make when dealing with this gorgeous lady are mainly due to the crazy multifunction buttons. Each button performs two or three different functions, depending on how long it is pressed and which function is selected. I read many reviews from people who were disappointed with it and just sent the device back. What bothers me the most is the volume control. A long press on the up/down keys is required to change the volume. As one person said, you need a fighter pilot's reaction to select the volume you want. I find it absolutely impossible to go up or down a level. My solution was to go up or down a few stairs and then back to what you really want. For example, to go from level 2 to level 3, I go to level 5 or 6 and then let it go down to a level where I can stop at level 3. A big jump between level 1 and 2 brings danger to the border. and 3. It's like going from 70 decibels to 100 and 120 almost instantly when using headphones. I don't know what decibel levels actually go into these settings, but I think you can damage your hearing with such large volume spikes. beauty will decrease. Eventually, the battery hidden in this device will reach the end of its useful charge/discharge cycle. At that point, it becomes another thing in the e-waste stream. So are you going to buy another one? The device is so small that I don't know if you can equip it with a removable battery without losing its delicate charm. But it's a technical job and I'd like a talented designer to do it. Finally, we have a problem with a rudimentary MP3 player. File management is almost nonexistent. The list of files will be played sequentially. You can move up or down one file at a time, but there's no way to do more. One useful thing I found is that you can navigate through folders. If you have multiple folders on the Micro SD card, you can switch to the next one by pressing and holding the Scan/Mode button. This is a major advantage that Retekess does not define in any of its technical materials. I only found this fact in a long Revain review. Thank you to that person. Now instead of 175 files I can put about 20 files in each individual folder and jump from one folder to another. I'm feeling like I'm on my honeymoon with my curvy exotic dancer right now, but I can't help but feel nervous about the future.
