The reel is shorter than the original Neato reel so only engages about 1/2 hex and has a large rotational pitch at the hex, likely resulting in a rounded hex and requiring early replacement of the sprocket ( or engine). The brushes on the roller are longer than they should be, so they pull against the Neato brush body, causing accelerated wear of the motor and hex drive. The magnet that should hold the side brushes is weak and set too low, barely holding when the Neato is lifted off the ground. The picture of the filter shows that it has a plastic mesh cover to keep larger dust particles out of the filter pleats. That was supposed to be a hint, but I didn't get it. The best filters are fabric-coated to keep coarse dust out of the filter pleats. I used a shop vacuum to test/pull air through a used/networked filter and these filters. A used/dirty filter made little to no difference in shop vacuum airflow, the air restriction through these filters was about the same as closing half the vacuum gripper nozzle. This limitation results in a poor cleanup of Neato. None of the kits are worth keeping!
