There are many reports that this crate is difficult to assemble. It's not difficult, it's only difficult if you can't follow instructions that aren't printed for you, in other words, the pictures on the instructions speak for themselves. The photo booth looks smaller than it is, but it's huge and wide. It's so big I thought they sent me the wrong size! I admit that the bars are a bit flimsy. So if you have a wild or tough dog, then this cage is not for you. Since there is a mesh top and pets can easily come out, I advise you not to buy it if you have an intelligent dog as they will come out grumpy. I'm not a big fan of the grid but it's so cute and makes any home look nicer and better (I hate black boxes!). My dog is a Shih Tzu who weighs 12-14 pounds and she has lots of space inside including bowls and bed. She's 7 years old so her hyper years are over, I'm pretty sure she won't rip it off or anything since she's cold. Overall, I'm very happy with this box, and the price is good too!
