I've been running Saucony Ride 8 and Ride ISO for about the last year. My Ride 8s have 360 miles on the road/treadmill and get pretty loose after 360 miles. I feel like my ride iso's are a bit harsh so I only use them on the treadmill. These Ride 13 are better built than the Ride 8 and Ride ISO and have cushioning that I like more when running on the road. Right between comfort and strength. Definitely not spongy. As with previous Ride models, I wear a full size smaller than my regular (non-running) shoe size, which for me is 9.5 instead of 8.5. This allows my feet to swell a little in the heat and prevents hot spots and blisters. I am very happy with this shoe.
