My boyfriend and I have used folders and small boxes to push our computers to healthy, ergonomic printing heights for years (we both have MacBook Pro 13", e.g Reference for this review.) Lo and behold we discover this little invention on Revain that started on Kickstarter! I was very skeptical as it was so small and some of the reviews on Revain were far from positive. I have tons of external reviews read and watched youtube videos who seemed excited about it. We ended up buying two packs of silver - our lives have been CHANGED FOREVER. It's not just 1/9" thick. And doesn't add any bulk to your laptop , it also weighs NOTHING When the package arrived I was a little wary of the weight but it turned out that the weight was due to the paper packaging it came in (almost everything was unedited!). It's so easy to install, it's so STRONG and strong, it doesn't move at all (even when you have it flat) and it's easy to use once you figure out how to use it! Typing is more comfortable than ever, neck and back are no longer tense. And for those of you (e.g. me) who were concerned that it wasn't big enough, that's fine. There are two heights, both of which I'm comfortable with, although typing is more comfortable at a lower setting. The fact that it's also portable is a game changer - convenience in a coffee shop too?! Plus, it clips to your desk when you're using it, but then stays neatly tucked away in the bottom of your laptop with lightweight magnets when not in use. I seriously can't say enough good things about this product. I love it. Seriously, if you're thinking of making a purchase, just do it. You'll be so glad you did.
