These preforms are great when footwork is key to climbing. Overhanging, pumping, twisted with dynamic hooks and odd pockets - that's not the realm of these shoes. It's plate bomber and pure vertical climbing where the footwork is technical, involving punches and edges you can't even bend over. They are also very convenient climbing cracks. They can be an all-round shoe for all types of climbing, but they definitely work better in some places than others, and different shoes work better in different circumstances. It definitely aggravates my state of mind by letting some of the almost faceless slabs know I can trust these boots. are actually pretty cool and you will buy them and love them for their performance if you are like me.
