The cable adapters sent did not work. Harnesses after reimbursement of the purchase price. I performed a forensic tourniquet on the tourniquets to determine what was wrong. Here is the result of the investigation: (1) The polarity was reversed. The problem was the direct wiring from the H4 connector to the H16 connector. (2) A break between the H16 adapters and the wires going to the H4 connector was the cause of the missing voltage. [both seat belts] This belt is a great idea for this type of product. The vehicle owner can connect directly to the vehicle's factory wiring harness without cutting the wires. Automotive light bulbs are not polarity sensitive. The LED lighting will NOT work if the polarity is reversed. Solution: I cut the wiring harness, mixed up the wires on the H16 adapter. Reconnecting fixed the disconnect. The stock harness clip attaches to the H16 adapter and creates reverse polarity. Crossing the wires on the harness solved the polarity problem. I suggest redoing the strap. If the harness had a connection between H16 and H4 adapters that could be easily disconnected and reconnected, this harness would be a MUST HAVE for anyone making the switch from incandescent to LED. Plug and play without cutting any wires is attractive to many people who don't want to cut into OEM wiring. Being able to simply disconnect and swap out two pins to get the light working when it first fails is a better design than sending an item back as defective. Please make sure that the cables are also connected to the plugs. Hooray!
