Review on HP 2020 Laptop with 17.3-Inch HD+ Screen by Skyy Strickland

Fits perfectly

I needed a relatively cheap laptop with more monitor functionality to work over Citrix or SSH, not much in demand. This laptop ticks all the boxes and has very good characteristics, although it lacks some of the more modern ports like USB-c, Thunderbolt or DisplayPort and it has a relatively small SSD. The full keyboard is large with great tactical feedback and a dedicated number pad. The trackpad and buttons are the same - I like that they're all separate and unpredictable compared to the Unipad with buttons on the bottom. Typing on this laptop is very fast. My only concern is the lack of a backlight, which can make working in low light difficult. It only has Intel UHD graphics, which is suitable for connecting up to 3 monitors via the integrated HDMI or a separate USB video cable, but this affects the integrated storage. In fact, I chose it because I had problems with ATI and NVidia mobile chipsets. The processor will never run at 3.6GHz as the laptop will melt. The theoretical number was only for 1 core on the desktop. Actual operating range is closer to 700-1200MHz depending on speed switching and battery/power limitations. However, it suited me. USB 3 SS is no longer at the peak of popularity, and the DVD recorder is simply outdated, but I understand that this has reduced the cost, which is even more important to me. It met my needs, but I understood that I was trading power for the value of this model, so I'm giving it a pretty high rating.
