I bought this to replace the eyeglass cleaner I bought from lens manufacturers who are out of town. Yes, it contains isopropyl alcohol, but most eyeglass cleaners do. It shouldn't damage the anti-reflective coating on your glasses if it's a high quality coating. If the coating is damaged I would recommend looking into a new eyewear supplier as a properly applied anti-reflective coating is not easily damaged. I've cleaned my glasses thousands of times with this cleaner and the coverage is still good. I clean my glasses by first washing my hands, then spraying the lenses and rubbing them with clean fingers, and then rinsing the lenses under hot running water. If they are very oily I usually have to repeat this 3 or 4 times. This is the only way to achieve perfect cleanliness. Lens Crafters cleans your glasses in an ultrasonic bath to remove the last traces of grease. If you hold your glasses up to the light, you can easily tell if they really are clean. Just spraying it on and then wiping it off doesn't work for me. I will buy this air purifier again because as far as I can tell it is identical to the air purifier I bought from Lens Crafters.
