Overall this is a great product. Installed easily and as advertised. This is a well made and sturdy mount. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again if I need to. However, its design requires installation by the driver. The 2014 Ford Expedition has a horn launcher on the passenger side that allows access through the firewall. Therefore, when installing on the driver's side, the coaxial cable must be routed through the engine compartment to the passenger side. The battery is also on the passenger side. The passenger side bracket greatly simplifies installation and reduces cable length. Also, it would be nice if the mount was designed to allow for other mounting methods that would allow the antenna to be mounted closer to the cabin. 1/2 way down the fender is fine, but closer to the cockpit the setup is more aesthetically pleasing.
