No programming required, just 2 AAA batteries and you're done. It's even better than the original remote from my MAW08V1QWT device. The only drawback is the temperature display in degrees Celsius. Although this is minor. Everything else works even better than the original. Purchase of a second U-inverter for the living room. Great offer!
