The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. The W size is perfect for wide feet, and the protective composite toe box doesn't restrict toe room like other boots. The composite sock is the same size as the widest part of the foot, so if your foot fits perfectly but your sock rests on the toecap, it's not a problem. The boots have a soft "soup" with every step, unlike the Pitboss boots, which have a hard, rigid sole. The softness with every step is comparable to Powertrain Sport Alloy Timberland boots if you've ever tried them on. However, this soft feel of the shoe may not be for everyone, but I find it offers the most comfortable fit. The trunk is large, much larger than a Pit Boss but comparably heavy. The toe and heel of the boot don't get damaged as easily as the leather of other boots, which is a plus. There is no break-in period for these boots, they are comfortable on day one, unlike most Timberland fashion boots which have a break-in period of 3+ months and Pitboss which have a break-in period of around 3-5 weeks. The size of the boot is again quite large, so only long socks can be worn. There will be friction if you wear ankle socks or "boots" with boondocks. In terms of fit, I have 11 watts and 11 watts fit me. With Pitboss boots I had to muster 11.5W because of the uncomfortable steel toe, with normal Timberland boots I got 11D. If you are one of those guys who have never tried it, you should go to the store and try it, they didn't have those things when I was a kid.
