Review on ๐ŸŽ„ Cozy and Festive: Women's Cotton Christmas Pajamas for Family Matching | Men's Long Sleeve Sleepwear & Jammies by Anita Davis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So, sew (pun!): clothes

My son likes the design of each of the two pieces in the two piece set we bought. The pajamas are comfortable, cute, light and airy. If I had rated them the first night they were worn they would have even earned five stars. However, one of them only lasted through one wash (the normal cycle and I hung it out to dry) before the sleeve shifted halfway. vertex. It looked like a large cutโ€”about a third of the sleeve's circumference was torn from the fabric. I'm a busy person. What working mom isn't like that? But my son liked the pajamas. I don't have a sewing machine. But I have a small, inexpensive sewing kit, and the love I have for my son, which he in turn poured into a cheap airplane pajama set, has surpassed my laziness; and I started sewing. Hand. Myself. A cheap needle not designed to pierce anything thicker than liquid. And in establishing such a previously distant relationship with synthetic fabrics, I had a new understanding of their inferior quality. The edges of the seams were frayed and thin. It was practically impossible to sew the sleeve along the original seam or even close to the original seam. So (yes, I'll be doing this often) I sewed it on with a wider seam as I didn't want to tear more of the material left over from the frayed edge of the fabric, resulting in the final left sleeve. narrower than the right. The good news is that my son is happy. And he learned to sew something. And his arms are skinny, so he can still fit in his pajamas. However, I'm not easily impressed.
