Wall anchors do not work but the product is of high quality
We use them for corn pit boards in the garage. We mounted the wall anchors and attached the hook. With only one board hooked, she began to pull herself out of the wall. You can see the hole in the picture above the hook. When the wall anchors failed, we decided to both install the 1x4 to the studs and attach the hook to the 1x4. It worked great. We were able to mount both corn hole boards on the same hook. Now it's holding up great. I don't know how much weight wall anchors are rated for, but not much. If you screw hooks into studs, they're great. Velcro straps for extensions are also well made.
