Review on Conair Travel Smart 1-inch Ceramic Mini Curling Iron - Optimize Your Hairstyling on the Go! by Leanne Young

Small but needs some practice

I'm a simple, not girly girl. I only have two standard size styling items - a hair dryer and a curling iron. So I'm clearly not a hairstyling enthusiast. And when I travel I usually do something fairly active like running, hiking, biking etc. But it's nice to look presentable so I can go eat and watch after a long day of sweating. rough. I was tired of lugging around a large curling iron when I travel, so I bought this on a whim. As for travel, this is exactly what I needed. It's small and compact, fits in the palm of my hand. It has no frills and only one setting. It does a good job of curling my hair, although the curls come out a little tighter than when I use my regular large curling iron. My hair is fairly medium and shoulder length so it can be managed with a smaller styling tool. To master this curling iron, you need a little practice. You can only control small sections of hair and you need to be a little careful not to burn your fingers/hands as there isn't much room to grab. If you are trying to do a basic style on the board then I think this will work. At least for me. If you are trying to style seriously or are working with very thick and/or long hair, this may or may not work for you.
