Looks like solid aluminium, good grip. I was hoping it would stretch a little further and wish it had a pre-drilled hole for hanging or attaching a loop. I use it outside for my fancy scooping in the stable and it would be great if I could hang it up. It's an arm's length longer than the plastic I had, but the plastic has a hole in it so I can hang it up close and out of sight. I have to put this dustpan on the floor, which causes the dirty handle or surface to get wet when I'm done, and I really don't care. So he goes in the chicken coop so the chickens can poop?
