Review on GOLDPAR Leveling Levelers Anti Slip Trailers by Josh Reynolds

Probably not as strong as the original

. When I found these I was looking for another curved straightener from Andersen. IMHO this design allows for maximum flexibility in aligning our jeep and/or off-road trailer. We never park on completely level ground at night, so we always have to level out a bit. The curved design makes this very easy. So I found what I was looking for in the search for the original. They appear to be made from the same or similar materials, although they are much lighter because they are not hard (or as hard as the original). It's great in terms of weight savings, but I'm curious to see if they hold up over time with big off-road tires and heavy vehicles parked on rough, soft, and sometimes rocky terrain. The original Andersen level has endured years of use and I hope they will too. My stress test before taking them on a ride was to lift a tire on my 5,000 pound jeep and place it directly onto the leveling platform without a backing pad. The Jeep is fitted with 35" tires, well above the 32" limit listed for this product. So the big tires try to spread the crescent shape over the hard concrete garage floor. I'm happy to report that at least they made it through this without showing any signs of stress or damage. That's impressive and earns them a place in our set for our next trip. I'll probably only use them on a much lighter trailer with 31" tires, but it's nice to know they'll fit a Jeep too. A large bag seems like a good idea, but it's really disposable quality and I won't be using it. I don't need big rubber sheets either, although people who park on concrete a lot probably will.

Pros
  • . That's amazing.
Cons
  • . Some errors.
