Great Headset Comfort

In my office, I use a Plantronics Voyager Focus, a high-end wireless Bluetooth headset with excellent comfort and active noise cancellation, but it's expensive. Now that I'm working from home, I bought this Plantronics Blackwire 5220 wired headset, having bought the more basic Plantronics Blackwire C3225 about 3 months ago. While the cheaper Blackwire C3225 does a good job of reducing noise and ambient noise, its comfort level just doesn't cut it for long virtual meetings. The slightly more expensive Blackwire 5220 solves this problem. Comfort and fit are excellent, almost on par with my Voyager Focus. I was on the phone for 3-4 hours without feeling any pressure points on my ears or head. The sound quality is very good and the ambient noise suppression is absolutely sufficient for a home office where other family members are chatting in the background. If you don't need the flexibility of a wireless headset (to fetch a cup of coffee from the kitchen during a call) then this Blackwire 5220 is a great choice and offers good value for money. Note. "Active Noise Cancellation" reduces the amount of ambient noise when wearing a headset with this feature. Reducing ambient noise helps minimize what the other party hears around you.
