Cools the CPU well even with the fan only running at 600rpm. The highest temperature I get when running Linpack or other CPU benchmarks is 36 degrees Celsius. The only downside I have is that the bottom of the cooler where it meets the top of the CPU isn't exactly smooth. Because heat pipes run through, despite their flatness, there are gaps between the aluminum and the heat pipes. When using Arctic Silver on a CPU, I usually apply a drop to the center of the CPU and let it spread while the cooler is attached. In this case, I used a new single-edged blade to fully coat the processor in a very thin layer. Then I attached the cooler.
