These are really cute toddler "first" dance shoes. They are made of canvas with a suede cap. They are perfect for my 2 year old daughter who is just learning to dance and eats quite heavy as she is not "well" yet. The fabric makes them feel like they can take abuse, and they have elastic laces that tighten them around the legs. She wears a 6 1/2 so I bought them at 7 so they are a bit big. I wasn't sure how they would fit so I would order the right size or up if they are half size. The difference is not so noticeable where they are difficult to carry or fall off. I bought them in pink and black and I really like both pairs. These are regular dance shoes so if you're looking for something cute then this isn't it. They are practical and functional.
