This mic sounds great in both mono and stereo. The purity of the sound is amazing. I mean when I say the sound is crisp and clear I mean it's crisp and very clear. I think this is the best mic I've ever had and it's so beautiful. It's small and light, but not too small, just right. It is very easy to use and understand that it is not difficult at all. Turn it on, choose one of 4 modes: Mono, Stereo 1 or Stereo 2 and T for bi-directional. Depending on where you are, adjust the volume sensitivity. So if you're in a noisy place, turn the mic volume down, and if it's quiet and you want to pick up noise, turn it up to 10. I set the mic volume to 10 and whispered from 20 feet away and picked it up my whisper up perfectly. Then I turned on the S-2 surround sound, turned the volume up to 8 and went skating by and it was cool to hear the skateboard moving from left to right. It looks great on my camera, the comica logo is black so it looks great. The bag holds the microphone very well and everything fits in it. As I said, it's very easy to use and works great with my DSLR and Android phone. I had no problems. Only complaint is that there are no microphone pop filters in the kit. I understand this is because the mics already have an internal filter and I didn't have any clicks myself on any of my recordings, so everything works fine. I think I just love this pop filter but at the same time it contains two dead cats. So why two dead cats but no pop screen? Anyway, dead cats look good; However, they slip off the mics very easily and their rubber straps that hold them in place keep getting lost and I have to reattach them. I've found I can use this outside on windy days; However, when the dead cats keep slipping, things get a little more difficult. However, I think the biggest benefit is the sound and versatility of this mic, it's easy to charge and the battery lasts a long time. I also like the digital display, it looks cool. I love this microphone and can only recommend it.
