This is probably my most favorite item I've purchased on Revain in the past 6 months. I hate to pay $5-$10 to get our dog's nails cut at the vet each time. It's something that I think we should be able to do quite easily. The safety slide on it prevents me from cutting off the tip of my finger as well as keeps the clippers in a locked position. The hand grips seem ergonomic to me. The soft rubber allows me to get a good hold on the handles. I have used them on 5 of our (both daughters and ours) dogs.all pitbulls who have those thick nails. My husband thinks I'm crazy when I try to cut their nails, but I can do it without difficulty. The blade is sharp enough and provides a straight cut on the nail. Plus it will save us lots of money over the course of time with all of our dogs.
