Amazing to use alone or as a base oil!

I love coconut oil! I can usually say that I particularly like the smell, probably because it reminds me of summer and those tropically scented sunscreens and oils; ) However, fractionated oils are odorless, making them excellent carrier oils to mix with essential oils. It's 16 ounces. Bottle so it's a nice big size for the price and I love that it comes with a screw cap and extra pump. I always appreciate the choice. I use this versatile oil in a variety of ways. I put about 3 ounces of this in a bottle with about 2 ounces of baby oil, 1 ounce of organic oil, a quarter ounce of vitamin E oil, a few drops of rosehip serum, a few drops of vitamin C serum, about 15mL. drops of lavender essential oil, about 25 drops of peppermint essential oil, and about 25 drops of eucalyptus essential oil. I shake it and then before I get out of the shower I pour a small amount into my hands and spread it all over my body. Smells amazing and helps with so many problems. I myself have found that my skin, which is prone to dryness, eczema and contact dermatitis, is much smoother, more hydrated and much less itchy. My athlete's foot is much easier to control. My cesarean and back surgery scars are getting lighter and even the stretch marks aren't as noticeable. I'm hoping now that I know more about them to add some other essential oils and swap some of those for baby oil and then maybe I can undo at least some of the damage the sun has done. my poor skin in my teens and early twenties! This is just one of the things I use it for. I also make my own bath with most of the same ingredients but in varying amounts and I find it really helps with the excruciating pain of my fibromyalgia and even a little with my sciatica which still flares up occasionally. And the bath (which contains Epsom salts) really helps with dry skin since I've been immersed in these amazing oils for so long! I recommend this product for any of the above uses, or for the many other uses of coconut oil, either alone or as a carrier oil. If my review was helpful to you, I would really appreciate it if you could take a minute to click the helpful box, so I know it's worth my time and effort to keep checking back! Thank you and have a nice day!

Pros
  • Fractionated Coconut Oil is also an excellent vehicle for blending with essential oils. It can be mixed with other more expensive carrier oils. It makes an excellent massage oil and is used in aromatherapy recipes.
