Makes grinding worse than mine

I bought it almost 8 years ago, found it impossible to get the results I claimed and removed it. It cost a lot more than it does now. It wasn't just the tooling, but I got so frustrated with trying to make bows and wire wrapped bows that I gave up jewelry making and put it all aside. A few days ago I decided to try again. Part of the problem, I think, is being left-handed and watching right-handed demos, figuring out what they're doing, and then flipping it all. I was struggling again with the same problems as before. After all this time, I saw someone using this tool on YouTube and decided to try again. It's just as useless as before. Left-handers are also uncomfortable. It's made for right-handers. The loops didn't close all the way, sometimes I just got a misshapen hook, sometimes the loops were more oval than round, they were very small, the beads kept the wire from getting caught in the loop, and sometimes the wire got caught in the loop hole in the upper jaw. I had to try to fix what this tool was doing and turn them into loops myself, and what's the point? I'd rather try to fix my own loops. I agree with the person who said forget it and practice making your own loops. Trying to play around with this tool probably took at least 10 times longer than creating the loop yourself. As bad as my loops are, the loops created with this tool are even worse. At least I have the ability to get better with more practice.

Pros
  • BOLT TOOL: These pliers make it easy to make bolts, bend metal, and cut wire.
Cons
  • Not sure
