This works very well for making small loops. The learning curve is short, but I recommend checking out the video tutorial on the Beadsmith website. There are instructions on the back of the box, but they are confusing as they actually show two different things: the first images show a simple loop making, and then additional images show how to cut a longer piece of wire while making the loop .
